There are indeed non-permanent leaks in the cookie code. I remember seeing
a couple during my last compile with --enable-find-leaks, and I fixed a
few. 

<URL:http://www.flora.org/lynx-dev/html/month0998/msg00267.html> shows a
few of the ones I didn't fix. I don't think any others have crept into the
cookie code since then, but I haven't compiled with --enable-find-leaks
since 2.8.1dev.25, I think.
