Do a "dir" at the MS-DOS prompt and you'll see that the name DOS
(and Lynx) recognizes is "PROGRA~1", or similar. Windows only masks
the fact that files still need to be in 8.3 format.
Using "d:\progra~1" would probably solve your problem.
