it's clearly a case of an out-of-date version of Lynx;
the Internet keeps changing & lynx-dev tries to keep up:
this may be a case of a hidden cookie or something like that.
you can compile your own Lynx if you have shell access.
make sure you send all queries to lynx-dev, so that everyone will see them.
