A feature perhaps some people on the list may not be aware of is that by
unsetting TERM, or more correctly, setting TERM to "unknown" Lynx will
prompt for the terminal type when it starts up. This is very convenient
for people who use Lynx from a shell account, but use many different
types of physical terminals/emulations to log on with. Before the
advent of NLS and the need to supply multiple environment variables, I
was letting Lynx handle the TERM environment variable for public access.
Only hitch is that if you type in a terminal type which doesn't exist,
Lynx will die.
