1) Windows NT proxy may have a Microsoft authentication enabled
which is not supported by lynx (there was a more detailed report on lynx-dev
during last month or two).
2) Probably you have a wrong network configuration on your AIX machine
(did you have tryed Netscape on AIX and it works OK?)
