isn't that all we need? i use Brief as my system editor in my XT,
which has a very simple, but very efficient facility
to record & then replay a sequence of keystrokes.
that's what Larry proposed, with the option to take them from a file.
it should be configured to avoid provoking the security fiends,
but otherwise would tell Lynx simply:
"Read from file" a/a "Read from keyboard",
where file could be temporary, created during an interactive session,
or a pre-edited file identified in the command line.
