I found two problems when compiling dev.12d. The first one is

make
PATH=.:$PATH /bin/sh -c './cfg_defs.sh'
./cfg_defs.sh: cfg_edit.sh: execute permission denied
./cfg_defs.sh: cfg_edit.sh: execute permission denied

The second one is

./LYShowInfo.c: In function `lynx_compile_opts':
./LYShowInfo.c:58: warning: unsigned value < 0 is always 0
./LYShowInfo.c:62: warning: unsigned value < 0 is always 0

Which gives
