It's probably the IMG-without-src bug, a known problem; it is fixed in
the development code at <URL: http://sol.slcc.edu/lynx/current/>.

If you don't want to get the development code and recompile, you
can probably work around the bug by setting (in lynx.cfg)

VERBOSE_IMAGES:FALSE
