that the Rest of the World finds the USA's idiosyncratic date format confusing.
the internationally recognised format is large-to-small left-to-right,
as adopted some time ago for Lynx CHANGES, ie

we all have personal divergences from the norms

& i assume the above was unintentional:
personal preferences are of course to be respected (smile).

BTW the older CHANGES files retain US date format:
should i volunteer to adjust them to the international format?
