Does the synxtax for .lynx_cookies allow comment-lines?

If so, how about a line or several at the top, explaining 
the columns (or fields or whatever they're called)?

Also (stupid question?) is the format of the above unique
to lynx, or is it instead that IS the "standard" format for
cookies, and indeed this single file IS the cookie-container;
