Instructions at the begining of the patch tell to remove HTFWriter.[ch].
I've done so. When compiling lynx, I've got the following error:
../../../WWW/Library/Implementation/HTFile.c:60: HTFWriter.h: No such file or
directory.
Removing '#include <HTFWriter.h>' at HTFile.c:60 fixes it.
