we seem to get a couple of basic inquiries about proxies each month
& Lynx documentation seems to have little advice to offer those
who are new to the subject.  i'm willing to add a few lines
to Lynx Help for Beginners, if someone cares to offer a brief account:
proxies are not something i have personal experience of;
possibly all it needs is a couple of URLs where proxy help is available.
