Not true.  See my previous message about what is available to you off
of the `=' information page.

Before that was tacked onto Lynx, there was always `g' => `/path/to/
your/lynx.cfg' => [Enter].  In this case, you can also invoke your
`e'ditor to change lynx.cfg, but of course those changes wouldn't take
effect until your next Lynx session.

People also seem to have forgotten about that simple `!'.  That will
take you right down to basics.  Do a couple of ls's, setenv's (csh)
and whatever it takes to joggle your memory back to how your Lynx
environment is/was supposed to have been set up.
