HotMail has been fluxuating between supporting normal HTTP access and
an encrypted HTTP access called https. Apparently they are back to requiring
the https. You have to build a special version of a library known as SSL,
then patch the lynx source code, then build a version of lynx configured and
linked against the ssl library.
