Wouldn't by any chance be possible to bundle all this info up and post
it (or send it to individuals who request it)?  Especially if you stuck
in any annotations about what solved what.  I would especially be
interested in the .screenrc tweaks (termcap?).  Another question, is
"settc" tcsh specific; what are the equivalents if any for csh, bash, etc.?

Biggest problems right now are not getting insert mode and having the top
2/3 of the screen blanked, and a new file or buffer starting from the
lower 1/3 of the screen, mostly in mail -- not directly related to Lynx.
Thanks to Ismael's hints the color-sticking problem I was having seems solved.
