Seems I _was_ wrong here, at least from what I gathered from his post
today. Perhaps there is a bias, however, in favor of Windows users
regarding the desirability of the features/support which SH_EX
introduces.

I think those "thanks" go to you. I'm very happy to not have to make
a bunch of mini-patches on my own to block what behavior I don't like
from the SH_EX additions.
