The error message that you cite probably doesn't have anything to
do with lynx hanging. The only times that I've seen the DOS port of
lynx hang like this is when there was a memory conflict with another
program called from within lynx. See a previous thread about the
DIRED functions and unzip asking for input. If you can give us a
series of actions which always causes this problem for you we can try
to investigate. Until we can reproduce it, it will be hard to fix.
