Debian has fixed it in their glibc development package, see
<http://www.debian.org/Bugs/db/59/59962.html>, quoting from that:

> Fix strategy: Ulrich Drepper mentioned this will be fixed by adding

So it seems the glibc maintainers are aware of the problem and don't need
more e-mail.
