I think Lynx is pretty near ideal when it comes to _hidden_ links.
In the normal situation they remain hidden.  With specialized command
switches, they can be made "usable," and with key commands available
to average users such as L)ist or \)Source, they can be made visible
to someone who wants to see them for specific purposes.  I tend to
agree with Klaus that most people _probably_ don't want to see them
as the default.

It's tops when it comes to text and "real" html, but no, nothing's
perfect.  I wish more sites would refrain from JavaScript when the
same thing could be done other ways, is all.  I spend a lot of time
viewing \)Source to find and reconstruct links buried in script --
they're a lot worse than just "hidden" in most cases.
