This might be trivial but I would like to confirm the problem.

When I read the following mail through
http://www.flora.org/lynx-dev/html/month072000/msg00023.html
with lynx (of 2.8.4dev.4 with Slang) on kterm

then lynx displays wrong characters as

which should be

>   裁1]ローカルファイルに保存
>    [2]ファイルをメールで送信

> , but after ^L:
> 
> 印刷先を選択:
>    [1]ローカルファイルに保存
>    [2]ファイルをメールで送信

Is this because lynx does not support JIS code or is there 
some other reason?
