OK.  Got it.  Excellent.  Your patch applies to the MKS variant source
with a few offsets, one fuzz, and several hunks rejected -- none of
which matter!  They're all either line numbers out of sync in "configure"
(Should these be pruned from the distributed patch?) or duplicates of
OS/390 enhancements which have percolated from MKS to me to lynx-dev
to you.
