Sorry, I should have sent this in when it happened:

I had one fatal error with Island.net's Lynx, but it was Lynx 2.8.1pre.9
Thinking you didn't need bug reports from older versions [eg,
reports for bugs that had been fixed], it went unmentioned except
for a quick note to the Island.net webmaster.

The only similarity is that I was browsing internally generated
pages; compile time settings, current lynx.cfg status, etc.  While
there, I asked Lynx to q)uit and gave confirmation [Y], but instead
of quitting it exited and dumped its core.  Didn't bother me,
since this is *roughly* what I'd had in mind anyway.

It only happened once [couldn't be reproduced later].  Maybe totally
unrelated, but the others seem fairly random and hard to repeat
as well.  "Exiting with signal: 11" sounds familiar too.

All I really know about the server is from the login prompt:
        Red Hat Linux release 5.2 (Apollo)
        Kernel 2.0.38 on an i686
Hope that tells you something.
