I don't use colors. I cannot see most colors and they all
blend into the black backround. My preferred display is 
black on white. My terminal uses enhanced white for all text therefore
EVERYTHING is in bold, not just the links. 

In my old lynx interface  I would have a page of text with
only a single link highlighted with inverse video.  Now with
the new lynx client, every link is shown in inverse video.

I can still run my old lynx client and it still shows
a screen full of text with only the current link in inverse 
video.

This tells me the chnage is due either to the ncurses library or
the lynx code since those are the variables which changed.

I compiled ncurses to use termcap since my current environment
didn't have TERMINFO defined and did have a TERMCAP defined.
(Included below). Note that my typical login practice is
to run screen immediately and then to run 'export TERM=vt100'
in each screen since the default screen termcap does not work 
well with vi or anythi8ng else for that matter.
