lynx-dev Lynx2.8.3

    We are in the process of downloading Lynx2.8.3 from its WebSite.  After
looking things over I believe all the source and include files we need will
be contained in the floowing folders:

            Lynx2-8-3/SRC
            Lynx2-8-3/SRC/CHRTRANS
            Lynx2-8-3/WWW/LIBRARY/IMPLEMENTATION

  Additionally we need to download Lynx2-8-3/Lynx.cfg and
Lynx2-8-3/userdefs.h  Also I assume that two com files are necessary and
sufficient to compile and link the Lynx program, Lynx2-8-3/build.com and
Lynx2-8-3/Libmake.com.  I assume we must edit the build.com program and the
Libmake.com program to include the directories where our source and include
files reside on the mainframe.  Once the Build.com program has successfully
completed and the compile and link operations have executed without error,
will an executable Lynx.exe be created from which I can run Lynx on my
mainframe?   Where must the files userdefs.h and Lynx.cfg be located on my
Alpha?  We are running OpenVMS V6.2 - 1HE on our Alpha.
