Lynx, in the version I have, ignores the initial content for the form field
when printing.

Unfortunately, html2ps (L2, not twelve) also seems to do this, although this
seems to be a bug, and might get fixed if you raised it (the text is in
the generated PostScript but doesn't get displayed).
html2ps is a tool for converting well structured HTML into PostScript for
printing, or for the production of PDF. ghostscript is a freeware
PostScript interpreter, that can be use to print to non-PostScript printers,
view on a screen, or convert to PDF. Ghostscript is fairly common on
Unix systems.
