You can also build it (using OpenSSL) with Visual C++ (5 or 6, I believe)
though there is a caveat in OpenSSL's documentation which indicates it may not
work.  I added a few lines to the top-level makefile.msc in 2.8.5dev.7, which
can be uncommented and used for this purpose.

The current version of lynx is 2.8.4
