It's a service by which shareware-vendors can get paid
by their users.  Customer pays kagi, I believe,
and sometime later, they send you a check.

I forget who takes the risk of non-payment.

I believe that if customer complains, to kagi,
that "what lousy software that was -- I want my
money back!", they automatically refund the money --
and it's up to you to somehow get back your software
or otherwise stop them from using it any more.

That's all I know, and even that might not be
totally correct.
