This is a very old version of lynx. If I recall properly, the default
start file no longer exists. May I suggest starting with a more
current version. You can always start as "lynx ." to start at your
current directory. The Windows version of lynx is best started from a
pif file pointing to a batch file that you create. Instructions are in
the Win32 package from Jim Spath. Pointers to several different Win32
binary packages are on my web site, but I would start with Jim Spath's
binary. It looks like you got the old binary from Wayne Buttles' site.
That binary is of historical interest, but not the one with which to
start. Pointers at "http://www.rahul.net/dkaufman/index.html";.
