I compiled the above with gcc3.2 on Tru64 5.1,
and get a core dump on a large page (e.g.,
http://lynx.isc.org/release/lynx2-8-4/lynx_help/Lynx_users_guide.html ):

  Do NOT mail the core file if one was generated.

  Lynx now exiting with signal:  11

  Resources lost(coredump)

I don't get the core dump on 2.8.5dev9 compiled on the same system.
