Both traces attached. I also got the following with the bad
one:

$ strace -o lynx-screen.txt lynx
  13904 [main] lynx 2668 handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
  18691 [main] lynx 2668 open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to 
lynx.exe.stackdump
