And if some people want to post with different addresses,
instead of subscribing with another address and disabling it,
they can just kindly ask one of the administrators. Mailman (an
old version) from SourceForge:

"Addresses of members accepted for posting to this list without
implicit approval requirement. (See "Restrict ... to list
members" for whether or not this is in addition to allowing
posting by list members"

Each user can also change the subscription options to digest,
not metoo, ack...
