Trying to build "lynx-cur.bz2" [Top date in CHANGES: 2004-02-04 (2.8.5rel.1)]
on NetBSD 1.6.1 (gcc 2.95.3), and am getting countless warnings:
`` `libintl_printf' is an unrecognized format function type ''.

For example:
gcc -I/usr/local/include -DEXP_CMD_LOGGING -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DNO_CHARSET_shift_ji
s=0 -DNO_CHARSET_euc_jp=0 -DNO_CHARSET_utf_8=0 -DNO_CHARSET_us_ascii=0 -DNO_CHAR
SET_iso_8859_15=0 -DNO_CHARSET_iso_8859_1=0  -DLOCALEDIR=\"/usr/local/share/loca
le\"  -I.  -I..  -Ichrtrans  -I./chrtrans  -I..  -I../src  -I../WWW/Library/Impl
ementation    -O2 -c ./LYKeymap.c
In file included from LYCurses.h:49,
                 from LYKeymap.h:6,
                 from LYUtils.h:5,
                 from ./LYKeymap.c:2:
/usr/local/include/slang.h:749: warning: `libintl_printf' is an unrecognized for
mat function type
/usr/local/include/slang.h:756: warning: `libintl_printf' is an unrecognized for
mat function type
/usr/local/include/slang.h:946: warning: `libintl_printf' is an unrecognized for
mat function type
/usr/local/include/slang.h:1429: warning: `libintl_printf' is an unrecognized fo
rmat function type

Also noticed:
In file included from ./LYUtils.c:70:
/usr/include/utmpx.h:126: warning: `struct utmp' declared inside parameter list
/usr/include/utmpx.h:126: warning: its scope is only this definition or declarat
ion, which is probably not what you want.
/usr/include/utmpx.h:127: warning: `struct utmp' declared inside parameter list

However, the build is successful, and the binary works. (Having some problems
with Japanese characters and color, but on an entirely new system, both client
and host, so it's too early to pin anything down. Probably not Lynx.)

One more thing I didn't understand was that since there is a release/
lynx2.8.5, shouldn't current/lynx-cur.bz2 break out to lynx2.8.6 (not 2.8.5)?
