Perhaps the uppercase "ISO-8859-1" is confusing lynx.  That seems to be
where the application/x-iso-8859-1 is coming from.

Russell McOrmond sent mail last week asking about this - I don't know
where the archives could be hosted (and no one responded for discussion).
