.lynxrc is rather more extensible than this, and post-facto documentation as
part of a (surprise!) file overwrite isn't optimal for the Options Screen.

I had forgotten the point, option-screen help, distracted by the extract.
Is a change to the uses of user-experiencedness switch needed to make
all this properly work? Surely the "advanced" users would rather not see
this new help-text, and that switch now affects only the bottom 1 or 3
screen-lines.
