Hi,
forgive my not being clear. Indeed no duplicates, but several for the same service. say several for amazon.com if the new cookies are at the bottom though, that explains why a new service cannot find their cookie. My file is perhaps 500 lines long
Thanks,
Kare

Since research is a major part of my professional life, my lynx
cookies file here at shellworld is well...huge!
I am not especially fond of having to recreate some, especially
say for the new york times. Still the size is becoming an issue,
and I am sure since there are duplicates that some of these can go.
Here are my two questions.
first, if there are indeed duplicates, which is considered the most

there are no duplicates (assuming Lynx is doing the right thing of course)

Reading the code, I don't see any ordering - so newer cookies would be
at the bottom.

current, the cookie towards the top or the bottom of the file?
Second, where do new cookies go when added, at the top, or at the bottom?
Thanks for the wisdom,
Karen
