Hi,
I'm going through some old man-db-related email today, and noticed that
I'd never responded to this. Sorry about that!
I suspect that, at least, the details of any failure you may get will be
quite different on current versions of man-db. Version 2.8.7 rearranged
how the database file name is passed around, which accounts for some of
your patch:
https://gitlab.com/cjwatson/man-db/-/commit/a97d977b0b
... and version 2.10.1 rearranged how linking works on Windows/PE
platforms:
https://gitlab.com/cjwatson/man-db/-/commit/545276705c
If you're still around, would you mind re-testing to see whether man-db
2.10.1 works on your platform now, or whether there are still issues?
Thanks,
