[microdc-devel] Character issues

Hello,

I hope this is appropriate:

microdc2 does not handle filelists with ` (and some other characters, like
the (c) copyright symbol).
I believe this is a problem with iconv, which does not handle some
non-ASCII characters well.

This results in a 'searchable' filelist, but any entry in the filelist,
after the first unavailable character cannot be browsed and therefore not
retrieved.
