libgcj:
fleche. /usr/bin/time monotone scan
141.55user 8.53system 3:30.30elapsed 71%CPU (0avgtext+0avgdata 0maxresident)k
0inputs+0outputs (321major+4802minor)pagefaults 0swaps
Classpath:
fleche. /usr/bin/time monotone scan
5.01user 0.10system 0:06.81elapsed 74%CPU (0avgtext+0avgdata 0maxresident)k
0inputs+0outputs (272major+892minor)pagefaults 0swaps
This time I made sure to remove the unicode file from the tree before
scanning libgcj.
I'm running RHL 9. I notice that the "memory use" applet on my panel
constantly reads something like 85% - 90%. I've always figured it was
just incorrect, but maybe something else is wrong.

I'd be interested in a new statically linked binary. Don't go out of
your way to make it though.
