[Monotone-devel] How do I find out what "monotone update" plans to do?

I feel sure this has been asked before, but I can't remember the
answer, but how do I find out what update is going to do?  

I guess it might be nice to be able to see information about specific
files and things, but mostly I'd just like to see just the log
information of the relevant revisions (the ones that update is
planning on applying).

How can I do that?
