What about building integration tools for MoinMoin and Savannah (via
Lua scripts for changelog parsing, etc), rather than dropping the
established infrastructure wholesale and starting anew? We already
have the main tools in place, and the ciabot already sends IRC updates
and could just as easily send commit messages to an email list. It
could also be altered to to use the Python screen-scraping
application, mechanize, to make changes to the Savannah bug-tracking
database. Buildbot is working well, AFAIK, and the main website is
updated regularly.

Really, I think the state of affairs is pretty sweet right now,
especially compared to other projects (including ones I'm supposed to
be running).

Sounds like a RoadMap page on the MoinMoin wiki might be a useful
addition.

This is all about faithful use of the tools at hand. Even Trac could
be neglected. Tighter integration might be useful though.
