Possible alternative way to get what you want: mtn automate select a:address@hidden | mtn automate toposort address@hidden | head -n 1
I first thought mtn log would do what I want as well, but since I was on 0.28 still this was painfully slow so I "guessed" my start date. Trying your proposal doesn't work properly, since I get fa3a2d8be30f50ec45575248a3c416628ebe00d6 outputted as "my" first revision dated back on 2006-04-06T21:48:48, however a quick `mtn ls certs h:net.venge.monotone.de` showed me an earlier date (2006-04-06T20:19:43), obviously this just took the head revision, and not even the base revision.
Is there another possibility to query such data? Thomas. -- - "I know that I don't know." (Sokrates) Guitone, a frontend for monotone: http://guitone.berlios.de Music lyrics and more: http://musicmademe.com
