I have been trying to convert a big CVS repository to Monotone using Tailor,
and I got this error in the middle of the process:
mtn: fatal: St11logic_error: database.cc:845: invariant 'I(cancel_size <
pending_writes_size)' violated
mtn: this is almost certainly a bug in monotone.
mtn: please send this error message, the output of 'mtn --full-version',
mtn: and a description of what you were doing to address@hidden
mtn: wrote debugging log to /home/jcomellas/devel/aptela/aptela/_MTN/debug
mtn: if reporting a bug, please include this file
I haven't made any extra modifications to either the CVS repository or the
Monotone database, in case someone wants to check anything. The version of
Monotone I'm using is 0.29. I took the Debian 0.29 package and recompiled it
on the 64 bit version of Ubuntu Linux 6.06 (Dapper). mtn --full-version
reports the following information:
monotone 0.29 (base revision: 796bc8596d6c5c68828fbfb6a620a09a3af15ded)
Running on : Linux 2.6.15-23-amd64-k8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue May 23
13:51:32 UTC 2006 x86_64
C++ compiler : GNU C++ version 4.0.3 (Ubuntu 4.0.3-1ubuntu5)
C++ standard library: GNU libstdc++ version 20060309
Boost version : 1_33_1
Changes since base revision:
format_version "1"
new_manifest [9932cbe01b712cb4031d40137c7ea656eb6c09d8]
old_revision [796bc8596d6c5c68828fbfb6a620a09a3af15ded]
Generated from data cached in the distribution;
further changes may have been made.
Please let me know if there is a workaorund for this problem. I'm attaching
the compressed debug output to this message.
