[Nmh-workers] base64 ... just looking for advice

So the thing I love absolutely most about MH/NMH is that my email is
just files on my disk that I can grep through.

However, an awful lot of my email is coming to me base-64-encoded,
for no particularly obvious reason... probably an accented character
or (in one case) line-drawing characters.

I have some stuff that can un-decode base64, but it feels funny for me
to go into my incoming email and alter it. It just feels less ...
authentic.

So I'm just wondering what other people are doing. Are you going into
your raw email, stripping out HTML, undecoding base64, removing extra
"multipart" parts, things like that?
