Follow-up Comment #22, bug #53841 (project octave): I am seeing this with the Windows installers for 5.0.90 and 5.0.91. Please see the attached screen shot. If the database has to be modified only once, can this be done before packaging the installer? Alternatively, can the installer do this while it still has elevated rights? CC'ing JohnD. Should I open a new report? IMHO, this is a blocker for Octave 5 since the default documentation (e.g. "doc plot") is un-usable in the GUI.
