Ops.
The new gcc (I have installed Slackware 9.0 at home) accepts a declaration
everywhere in the code (like C++), and I forgot a misplaced one at visual.c.
It's fixed on http://palito.9hells.org/src/palito-dev.2003-08-07a.tgz

[ hmm.. maybe there is a cmdline option to accept only strict C declarations,
to help me keep the code compatible with older gcc's ]
