Some comments:

  * Seems the steps are to setup mingw/cygwin within Windows itself to
build libgnupdf. But the thing was more about how to setup mingw within
GNU/Linux to cross-compile libgnupdf for Windows (and run the unit tests
with Wine). Anyway what you did is probably worth keeping as "Compiling
libgnupdf under Windows". Still, we need the steps for "Cross-compiling
libgnudf for Windows under GNU/Linux".

 * Regarding check, did you try upstream repo? It is supposed to have
all the Windows-related bits already, so we may not need a specific repo
from some guy.
