Could it be that your static and your dynamic libasound are not the same
version ???
Linking libmustux to -lasound means you're working with a statically
linked mustux library ? So you'll need to statically link protux to
libmustux as well or compilation will fail due to missing -lasound ???

But the result should still be the same as if you would work with
dynamic linking...
