Odd. valgrind works well for me. Do you have SSE floating-point
turned on in GCC by any chance? Try compiling with -mfpmath=387.
Upgrading to the latest version of valgrind fixed the problem. But
now I can see how leaky PSPP is I wish I hadn't ....
