You might ask on the UDF mailing list.  (SuSE sponsors the list).

UDF is an alternative CD layout that is more flexible than the normal one.

UDF is _not_ supported in any distro I know of (including SuSE), but they are 
trying to get it into the 2.6 kernel.

Of course you can get the patch and compile your own kernel.
