Hi,

I am trying to setup a backup system for my lab. We will backup our
servers to the universities tape facility. rdiff-backup is installed
and working properly on our machines, but I am having trouble
installing on my universities servers.

I build and install librsync and it doesn't report any errors.
I build and install rdiff-backup and it doesn't report any errors.
At first I just tried to run rdiff-backup and got the following messages

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/afs/isis.unc.edu/home/r/e/renfrew/bin/rdiff-backup", line 21, in ?
    import rdiff_backup.Main
ImportError: No module named rdiff_backup.Main

I read a few of the posts here and relized the modules were not in my
pythion path and that I should try
PYTHONPATH=/afs/isis.unc.edu/home/r/e/renfrew/lib/python2.2/site-packages/rdiff_backup/
rdiff-backup

I get the exact same error as above again. Looking at the content of
/afs/isis.unc.edu/home/r/e/renfrew/lib/python2.2/site-packages/rdiff_backup/
I do not see a rdiff_backup.Main

my boss is breathing down my neck to get this finished any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Doug
